ALLISON OLIVER
An Austin native, Allison graduated from Westwood High School where she was actively involved in choir, track and cross-country. Upon graduation, she entered the School of Music at Texas State University in San Marcos where she continued studies in piano performance while completing coursework for a degree in music with certification in elementary and choral music education. While in college, she served as accompanist to various vocal and instrumental students, as well as to the Women’s Choir.
In the summer of 2005, she toured with the Texas State Chorale, singing in performances in Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Allison began her teaching career. She taught nine years of elementary music before moving to middle school piano for six years. This year, she returned to elementary to serve the students of Round Rock ISD as a music educator.
Allison has taught private piano lessons and served as accompanist for the Tapestry Singers, various middle and high school performances, and the Palm Valley Lutheran Church Choir in Round Rock.
Aside from making music, Allison enjoys reading, fitness, participating in half-marathons, and enjoying time in nature.
