Q. When and where does the choir rehearse?
A. The choir at large rehearses Monday evenings from 7:15 - 8:45 pm at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock. Ensembles rehearse prior to the choir rehearsals.
Q. How can I join the Round Rock Community Choir?
A. The first step in joining the choir is to contact our Artistic Director, David Allen. Please email David at
David will be in touch with you to discuss your interest and schedule a time to meet. The vocal “meet and greet” is a straight-forward, non-threatening process. Included is a brief discussion about your singing history and vocalizations to demonstrate your vocal range, so he can hear your voice and determine how to best incorporate your talents.
Q. How many concerts does the choir perform each season?
A. The choir performs 3-4 major concerts per season, in addition to our performances at Round Rock Chalk Walk and Round Rock Express games. Click here to see our current season performance schedule.
Q. Can I buy concert tickets at the door?
A. The box office opens one hour prior to each performance. Tickets can be purchased online beginning 30 days prior to the concert.
